Welcome, fellow teachers!

As you know, our grade-level meeting leaders have asked us to record failing averages on shared Excel spreadsheets. Doing so allows us to have all the information we need in one place. You may not have much experience with Excel, and locating the spreadsheet can be difficult, but with basic computer skills and step-by-step instructions, you can enter your grades and be prepared for the meeting.

The grade-level meeting leaders want to know that you've been taught the process and have mastered the steps before they require you to complete the task, so here's your assignment. (Yes, teachers, consider this a test!)

Download the Test Instructions Checklist and view the instructional video (links provided below). Then . . .

1. Enter a failing average and an intervention for YOURSELF in YOUR subject area on the "Practice Spreadsheet" for the month of October.

Due Date: October 31st

2. Open the spreadsheet on November 1. If you have correctly completed the task, you'll see "Success!" in the "Plan of Action" column. If you have made a mistake or failed to complete the assignment, I'll note the changes that need to be made or that the assignment was incomplete. Check the spreadsheet for feedback on November 2nd. You'll have one day to make corrections.

Retest Due Date: November 3rd

3. On November 4th, I'll print a copy of October's page and turn it in to the administration.
